HiLine Engineering & Fabrication is also qualified to design and fabricate vessels in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII, Division 1. The ASME Section VIII Quality Control (QC) program is implemented when required by contract or when pressure vessels requiring a “U” stamp are designed or fabricated. The ASME QC program is also implemented for pressure vessel repairs or alterations. HiLine is authorized by the National Board to apply the “R” stamp to vessels following repair or alteration.
HiLine welds to the requirements of many weld procedures primarily for P1-P1, P8-P8, and P1-P8 welding using SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes. All our welders are qualified to the applicable AWS codes and ASME Section IX code requirements. American Welding Society (AWS) inspections and nondestructive examinations (NDE) are performed by personnel qualified to the recommendations of SNT-TC-1A.
On the electrical side, HiLine Engineering & Fabrication manufactures and labels industrial control panels in accordance with UL 508A. HiLine Engineering & Fabrication also manufactures and labels industrial control panels relating to hazardous locations in accordance with UL 698A.
Whatever your needs, HiLine Engineering & Fabrication can provide a thorough documentation package including fabrication plans/travelers, inspection plans/reports, test plans/reports, and certified material test reports as necessary.
Although the HiLine QA programs are well established, HiLine personnel strive to maximize program effectiveness with every job.
